Overview and Experience

Callie Gargiulo McDowell is a Senior Consultant at Dartmouth Research & Consulting. She has over 30 years of experience in strategic planning, design, and implementation of organization-wide initiatives. Her specialty is the design and development of processes, tools and systems to build and accelerate adopting new ways of working. Callie possesses the full range of capabilities for leading and facilitating teams to work efficiently and effectively in quickly ramping up on content and completing deliverable-focused work sessions. 
 
Callie was the Founder and President of AED, Inc. a professional services firm specializing in training strategy and design and custom learning solutions, which she led from 1979 to 2004.   
 
During her career, Callie has worked with such clients as Infonavit (the Mexican housing agency), Biogen Idec, Merck, Boston Consulting Group, NCS Pearson, General Electric, Tufts University, Dartmouth College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, National Fire Protection Association, Fidelity Investments, and PLATO Learning, Inc. on first-ever-type initiatives that involved significant changes in competencies, technologies, processes, and work practices for the firms and institutions involved.
 
Callie holds a BA from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, a Masters in Educational Communications from SUNY at Albany, a Certificate in Adult Learning from Georgetown University, and a Certificate in Coaching from Cambridge College.
