Overview and Experience

Building upon over thirty years of banking and business management experience, Jonathan leads DRC’s practice for small and closely-held enterprises. Jonathan brings over twenty-five years of hands-on experience leading a $560M local bank to become one of the most prominent regional banks with over $3B in assets in the Northeast. He is recognized for his leadership in creating highly-energized and stable management teams; a customer-centric approach to lending, innovative expansion strategies and a commitment to corporate philanthropy.

In addition to his work at DRC, Jonathan founded Sloane Partners LLC in 2012.  Through Sloane Partners, Jonathan is an active investor and advisor to smart people with great ideas. He is recognized for his ability to assist CEOs, investors and lenders with strategy and growth capital to scale, pivot, and re-boot stalled or troubled companies. He has a passion for working with family businesses as they address the challenges of succession planning, transitioning, or exiting.

Jonathan holds a BA in Economics from Tufts University, and advanced degrees from Stonier Graduate School of Banking, Rutgers University, and Harvard Business School OPM. 

He serves on numerous corporate and public charity boards including Harvard Business School Association, YMCAs of Greater Boston, Boy Scouts of America, and Catholic Charities of Boston.
